New: Embedded Marmoset Previews on TurboSquid

As an early Christmas gift to our global artist community, TurboSquid is pleased to announce that we have added an embedded Marmoset Toolbag .mview option as part of the publishing process. As many of you know, Marmoset Toolbag is the industry standard for high-quality, professional, real-time presentations of 3D models, and this integration now means that customers will be able to interact with your models in a whole new way.

A number of you have already been publishing Toolbag files (.tbscene or .mview) as separate downloadable files on your products. Now, you’ll be able to provide an embedded view for customers to interact with those files on the product page. This is a new Additional file and is not going to be required as part of a product; it is an optional new way to allow customers to experience your work. Artists will need to have either Marmoset Toolbag 2 or 3 in order to generate these .mview files. Moreover, any CheckMate artists wanting to update their existing CM models will need to enable the Flash Player in order to add the new .mview files. This only applies to CM content publishers (and it’s one of the long list of reasons we’re working on getting the new publisher done ASAP).
