Payoneer Payment Option is Now Live

We have been working to incorporate Payoneer as a payment option since the changes to WebMoney impact so many of our artists. We are happy to announce that Payoneer is now fully integrated into the TurboSquid system. This new knowledge base article provides the full details regarding this integration.

For those artists that have not yet migrated to a new payment method, we are providing an extension through October 7th in order for you to finalize your payment information for this pay period.

Why Payoneer?
While many suggestions were made regarding payment systems as a replacement for WebMoney, our research showed that Payoneer offered a lot of nice features. We suggest that all non-US artists check it out these benefits, as they may provide advantages over your current payment option.

Payoneer benefits include:

  • Option to choose between two payment options:
    • Local Bank Transfers – Low cost, fast transfers directly to your bank account
      • Get paid in your local currency
      • Avoid excessive wire fees
      • Receive funds, as quickly as 1 business day
    • Payoneer MasterCard® Card – Multiple low-cost, secure ways to access your funds in minutes
      • Withdraw cash from ATMs supporting MasterCard®
      • Withdraw funds from your card to your local bank account
      • Spend in-store or online

For this release, Payoneer has extended a special offer for TurboSquid artists — free credit card activation or free bank transfers until November 30th, 2015. For more information about Payoneer’s global payment solutions, visit the Payoneer.com.

Other Payment Options

In addition to Payoneer, artists also offered Skrill as an alternative payment method to explore. We have made a number of attempts to reach a representative at Skrill to discuss the benefits of their services from which we have received no response. We will continue to try however for now there is little we can do without their response.
